Practice
Outside general counsel, by the month
For companies with steady legal work but not enough for an in-house lawyer.
The counsel plan gives you a lawyer who knows your company: your agreements, your owners, the vendor who always sends a new form. You email questions as they come, send contracts for review, and keep a monthly call on the calendar.
Work outside the plan, like an acquisition, is quoted at a flat fee before it starts, at plan-member rates.
In the plan
Contract reviews, up to four a month
Questions by email, answered by an attorney
Owner and board consents
Policies for a first few employees
Annual filings tracked

How the plan works
Month to month, with 30 days’ notice to stop.
- 01
Step 1: Onboarding call
An hour on your company, its contracts and what’s coming up.
- 02
Step 2: Your company file
We gather your formation documents and key agreements in one place.
- 03
Step 3: Monthly call
Thirty minutes on what’s new, with notes sent after.
- 04
Step 4: Ask as it comes
Email or send a contract any day of the month.
The plan fee
One monthly fee; outside work quoted first.

Plan questions
What if we need more than four reviews?
Extra reviews in a month are billed at a reduced flat fee, which we tell you before starting.
Is there a minimum term?
No. The plan runs month to month.
Can the plan cover employment issues?
Offer letters, contractor agreements and simple policies, yes. A claim or a charge from an employee is a separate matter.
Want a lawyer on call?
Book a short video call and we’ll tell you whether the plan fits how much legal work you actually have.
The first call is free and doesn’t make us your lawyers; an engagement letter does.
